Our Stunning Riddling Rack made from real Wine Barrels is the sophisticated way to store wine with the cork down, just the way they do in in the great wine cellars. This rack is designed to lean up against a wall. This full riddling rack has room for 60 bottles of wine and it is made from rough-sawn white pine planks. The current design uses a straight backing board to hold the bottle necks, as opposed to the notched design shown in the photo. All other details are the same as the photo. Materials:
Each piece is composed of recycled wood from white oak barrels common in wine production. The barrels are originally handmade and burnished to enhance certain flavors in the wine making process. This leads to uniquely shaped and colored staves of wood that are reused to create these stylish furniture pieces. The colors of the wood can also vary greatly depending on the variety of wine made in each particular barrel. After assembly of the furniture each piece is again stained and lacquered for a durable finish that will provide years of worry free enjoyment. A few of the larger pieces also use rough lumber, which is sanded by hand, leaving much of the wood's natural character for a more rustic finish.
