Our Beautiful Wine Barrel Stave Stool is made from the staves of recently retired wine barrels and it has a cushioned leather top, which is shown in the tan color in the above photo. The curved stave legs have a wine barrel hoop at the base with full length iron rods for stability and a great rustic style. The seat is made from the top of an old wine barrel with a beautiful leather cover. Line these up at your bar or by your bistro table. These stools come in your choice of four different heights: Short Stave Stool with Leather Seat: 20 inches square by 24 inches high. Medium Stave Stool with Leather Seat: 20 inches square by 28 inches high. Tall Stave Stool with Leather Seat: 20 inches square by 30 inches high. Extra Tall Stave Stool with Leather Seat: 20 inches square by 32 inches high. The seat itself is 12 inches square but the legs flare out to 20 inches near the base.

Materials:
Each piece is composed of recycled wood from white oak barrels common in wine production. The barrels are originally handmade and burnished to enhance certain flavors in the wine making process. This leads to uniquely shaped and colored staves of wood that are reused to create these stylish furniture pieces. The colors of the wood can also vary greatly depending on the variety of wine made in each particular barrel. After assembly of the furniture each piece is again stained and lacquered for a durable finish that will provide years of worry free enjoyment. A few of the larger pieces also use rough lumber, which is sanded by hand, leaving much of the wood's natural character for a more rustic finish.
