The Richmond Bunk Bed
is comprised of Hardwood
and is available in 3 of our exclusive high build 5 Step Finishes;
White, our white finish is absolutely opaque, you will not see any knot
bleed through here because of our 5 Step Finishing Process; Natural
Maple, a warm natural tone that compliments any style and Antique
Walnut, a rich deep dark finish that refines any room. It has a solid
mortise and tenon construction with 26 steel reinforcement pins and
includes two 14 piece slat kits, making box springs and Bunkie Boards
unnecessary.
The Richmond Bunk Bed
is available in Twin over Twin with
an optional modesty panel that gives the bed a more grounded look. This
Bunk Bed may also accept under-bed storage drawers or trundle bed,
giving you more storage or sleeping space.

Our Five
Step Finishing Process
Each
product in our
entire line is finished with a high build, five step finishing process.
After a thorough sanding, (1) a wipe on sealer is applied. Once dry, a
tinted sealer (2) is applied to even the grain and color of the wood.
Next, another round of sanding before the first base color coat is
applied (3). More sanding and the second base color coat is applied
(4). Finally there is a final sanding and the finish coat is applied
(5).
This process
produces a long lasting and durable finish that will last for years.

highlights to aforementioned finishing process.
Hook
& Pin Rail System
Our
innovative hook and pin system creates a strong, long lasting
connection between the headboard and foot board. Two metal pins are
embedded within the head and foot boards at two positions making it
easy
to switch from upper height to lower height. Set the bed high for use
with bed storage drawers or trundle bed or set it low for use with
mattress and foundation.
Constructed
of solid Eco-Friendly hardwood, our storage and platform beds can stand
the test of time. Each headboard and foot board we manufacture has the
ability to bolt directly to a metal bed frame with industry standard
fittings built right in.
The
photo to the right has been digitally enhanced to show detail and the
approximate location of the pins within the foot board. To set up your
bed, simply connect the rail to the headboard and foot board.
